MorphoFace™ Verify is a fast and reliable solution for identity verification.
Based on Sagem Défense Sécurité face recognition technology, this software application enables to check that the
holder of an ID document (passport,visa, driving license, national ID card) is its rightful owner, by carrying out a real-time comparison between a live face image and a stored reference portrait.
MorphoFace verify is already in use in some major projects. MorphoFace™ Verify is ideally suited for any application, where the holder of an ID document has to guarantee his/her identity, to make use of it on a secure and efficient way. It therefore combats identity fraud by securing the use of ID credentials.

MorphoFace™ Verify can be used in two ways:
• Either the reference image is stored within the chip of the document and MorphoFace™ Verify compares holder’s face with the reference portrait retrieved from the chip.
• Or the reference image is stored within a database and MorphoFace™ Verify compares the holder’s face with the portrait retrieved from the database. The document making the link with the person’s file thanks to an identification number stored onto the document.
MorphoFace™ Verifiy can be easily implemented into existing system. Combined with the proper hardware infrastructure it offers a fast and reliable way to grant access to a secure area or a country (border
management) while optimising control resources.

MorphoFace™ Investigate

Facial recognition solution for law enforcement agencies

Law enforcement agencies regularly use images or photographs of individuals during investigations and inquiries for identification purposes or to establish a link between several criminal cases. This manual search is often long and tedious.MorphoFace™ Investigate is a facial recognition solution that considerably reduces processing time. Consequently, it improves law enforcement agencies’ ability to conduct an investigation.

MorphoFace™ Investigate, a solution based on Sagem Défense Sécurité’s state-of-the-art algorithms, allows law enforcement officers to do as follows:

• Set up databases of reference portraits to store, display and dispatch photographs of arrested individuals, suspects and wanted or missing persons. Several photographs can be stored for each record, with
optimal photo quality thanks to the dedicated acquisition tools Sagem Défense Sécurité may, at any time and without notice, make changes or improvements to the products and services offered and/or cease producing or commercializing them.
• Automatically compare photographs or video stills with other images related to a criminal case or with the portraits stored in the database. The comparison can be narrowed thanks to the use of various
criteria (sex, place of residence, height, etc.)
• Present individuals bearing a resemblance to those under investigation, in particular for police lineups.

MorphoFace™ Investigate includes a complete range of image correction and enhancement tools to facilitate comparison and improve performance. This includes the following:
• Automatic quality check – poor quality images can be improved by the expert user before carrying out a comparison
• Pose correction – thanks to horizontal and vertical rectification functions the expert user can rectify the individual’s pose
• 3D mapping – thanks to pointing functions on parts of the face, the user can reconstitute an individual’s face in a 3D format
• Image decompression to maintain a sufficient level of image quality in spite of possible deterioration related to compression and decompression

Thus, MorphoFace™ Alarm allows to optimise surveillance resources as the operator can follow several cameras and focus on suspect cases.
MorphoFace™ Alarm is specifically designed for watch-list searches and watch out of unwanted people at leisure or sensitive areas (sport arenas, casinos, clubs, banks, subways, airports, train stations, jails, etc.).
